I am often asked by potential minions what I look for in a submissive. Well aside from the obvious issues of general compatibility I always look for someone who enjoys their submission as much as I enjoy my dominance. I like people who are inspired to submit, who have interrogated their own masochistic desires well enough to be able to articulate the driving force that compels them to submit. As always I am interested in the “why”. There are many different ways and reasons to serve and I do understand that they change. I’m not expecting a full treatise on the matter especially from a new submissive. Financial Domination Part 2: Why you do it.
So in part one we had a brief discussion about why I engage in financial domination. Part 2 minions is devoted to why I think you do it. This is of course my not at all humble opinion on the subject, based on my own experiences with financial submissives. I find that those who wish to subjugate themselves financially fall into two very broad categories. The first group we’ll call the pleasers and the second type we’ll refer to as the humiliated. What both groups have income is that they understand, at least on some basic level the intersection of gender issues, money and power. Financial Domination Part 1: Why I do it
This will be first of at least 3 posts on the subject of financial domination. So the question is why do I do it? Of course most people think the answer is money, but this about so much more than your dollars. In our society despite the progress that has been made, one of the last arenas of male power is money. This not to say women can’t make money and lots of it. Trust me I probably make more than half of you minions. However the fact remains that men are still paid more than women. I am not going to launch into a long diatribe about the causes of wage disparity between the genders, because I would hope we all have a basic grasp of gender issues.
